Blog #4 - The Effects of Photoshop

I agree that Photoshop can have a terrible effect on society. but I also agree that Photoshop can have a great effect on people. The effects of Photoshop differ depending on whats being photoshopped. For example, if someone had photoshopped a picture of a person to make them look more appealing, then that's a way that Photoshop can negatively effect society. But, like my picture above, Photoshop can take an ordinary picture of a solar eclipse and make it look so much better artistically. That change on a picture wouldn't have a bad effect on people. So, as different websites and other media sources bash the program of Photoshop and try to make the whole thing seem like a terrible thing, but it's only terrible if it's used for the wrong reasons.
